Monetary and non-monetary contributions to THOKOMALA may also be recognizable under your Socio Economic Development (SED) pillar within your BEE scorecard.
The SED pillar is allocated a total weighting of 5 points and a target of 1 % of NPAT. The score is derived by dividing your SED contributions by the target.
Since our beneficiary base constitutes greater than 75% black children, you would be eligible to claim the full value of the contributions made to our organisation. This would allow you to obtain BBBEE points easily and painlessly while easing the pain and making a lasting difference in the lives of the young orphans.
We will do whatever is necessary to make a difference in the lives of the orphaned children of this beautiful country. We call on you to do the same!
THOKOMALA is committed to transparent governance: We are audited annually by PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young are managing our books on a pro bono basis. All South African donations are tax deductible in terms of section 18A of the SARS income tax act.
