About Thokomala

Introduction The Team Partnerships

THOKOMALA offers unique partnership opportunities for business and corporates in minimising the impact of the HIV and AIDS pandemic. Benefits to the business are obvious and relate to the impact on markets and availability of skills. THOKOMALA would like the South African business community to get involved with us as the orphan issue is much too big for any one role player. THOKOMALA developed a model where many companies can become sponsors and employees can also get involved. THOKOMALA offers packages for smaller companies to obtain their BEE points.

The challenge is to re-assess your involvement in the community. Social Investment is about really connecting with projects like THOKOMALA, and becoming involved with people that need assistance. A cheque, though also needed, is not everything: Human involvement – with your heart and passion is what makes the difference! It’s everyone’s business in South Africa to give a thought to the future of the country. That’s exactly what our children are – our future. Imagine what will become of a child who grows up on the streets?
