Asif Aziz is the Chief Executive of Criterion Capital London, UK. He loves Africa and believes that its children need a chance! Asif is married, with four children. Kees Kruythoff was born and raised in Holland. He works and lives in Brazil. He and his extended family established the Stichting THOKOMALA Nederland which is supporting a THOKOMALA Home in KwaMashu, Durban. Kees is married, with three children
Marijn van Tiggelen Marijn van Tiggelen is Chairman of Unilever South Africa. He has recently landed in SA and has built extensive experience in CSR during the last 10 years whilst working in Asia. He is married, with 3 children. Renee Burton defines herself as a published author and a social crusader of sorts. She believes that the path to an even better South Africa, is about giving our children a solid value system, then it's about giving our children a solid education and finally it culminates with giving our children a real chance - through Thokomala we can do just that.
Henk Leenstra retired as regional executive of the Nedcor Group in 2002 and for the last 9 years has been running his own consultancy business. Henk served on the board of SOS Children's Village for 10 years. Ray Lecolle-Brown is Unilever's corporate counsel and his expertise has helped tremendously with all of THOKOMALA's legal requirements.

Antje Hockly is THOKOMALA’s manager. Passionate about children and South Africa it was natural for her to move from corporate to charity work. Antje is married and has two young daughters, who refer to the THOKOMALA kids as “Mami’s other children”.
